2023 GICW Halloween Costume Contest: Rules and Regulations
Goodwill wants to see your Halloween costume! Post a photo and you have a chance to win a $100 Goodwill gift card!

- Take a photo of the Halloween costume!
- Go to the pinned 2023 Halloween Contest post on @MeetGoodwill FB page
- Post your photo by November 2, 2023.
- Follow @MeetGoodwill on Facebook
Prizes will be awarded in two categories: Costumes and Décor
- Contest opens on Sunday, October 1 and closes at 11:59PM (PT) on Thursday, November 2.
- Winners will be chosen by GICW staff based on creativity and originality.
Prizes in Each Category:
- 1st Place– $100 Goodwill gift card
- 2nd place– $50 Goodwill gift card
Contest Rules and Photo Guidelines:
- Employees of Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette (GICW), GICW program participants, and members of GICW employees’ and participants’ households are ineligible to enter.
- Entries must be posted between October 1 and by 12:01AM, November 2. Entries received after 12:01 a.m. on November 2, 2021, will not be eligible for the contest.
- Photos must be appropriate for all audiences. Photos which GICW, in its sole discretion, deems inappropriate, shall be removed and the entry voided.
By entering the contest, entrant grants GICW a royalty-free, unrestricted license to display, distribute, or reproduce photo entries in any media now existing or subsequently developed for GICW marketing or mission purposes. By participating in the contest, entrant warrants that he/she fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these rules and the decisions of GICW, which are final and binding in all matters related to the contest.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. By participating, entrant hereby releases and holds harmless Facebook from any and all liability associated with this promotion.
Winners will be contacted via private Facebook message by GICW. The winners must reply to the message with their contact information including their mailing address within seven (7) days. Winners will be announced on the GICW Facebook page after they have confirmed their contact information. In the event that the winner cannot be contacted, he/she forfeits the prize. The prizes will be delivered to the address provided within two (2) weeks. Prizes can also be picked up in person by the winner at Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette’s headquarters located at 1943 SE 6th Avenue, Portland, Oregon. If the winner wishes to pick up the prize in person, they need to provide photo I.D. and schedule a pickup date and time.
GICW reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify these rules at its discretion.
