Catherine Hannam, President & CEO
Cathy Hannam joined Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette (GICW) as District Manager in 2002. Since then, she has played an integral role in expanding Goodwill’s retail mission-integrated enterprise, as well as developing and advancing GICW’s e-commerce programs. Cathy received her MBA in Marketing from Marylhurst University and completed Goodwill Industries International’s Executive Development Program.
David Miller, Director of Vocational Services
David Miller has been with GICW since 2018 and is the Director of Vocational Services. Prior to joining this Goodwill, he held leadership positions for more than 24 years with four other Goodwill organizations and has served as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor.
Helen Yu, Director of Human Resources & Loss Control, General Counsel
Helen Yu has been with Goodwill Industries since 2013. Prior to joining GICW, Helen was corporate counsel for an international technology company, and also worked in private practice with an emphasis on employment law. During her tenure, Helen completed Goodwill Industries International’s Senior Leader Program and earned an Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Oregon. Helen is a member of the Oregon and Washington State Bar Associations, and also maintains senior professional certifications (SPHR & SHRM-SCP) with both the HR Certification Institute and Society of Human Resource Management.
John Hannam, Director of Retail and Marketing Services
Joining GICW in 2010, John Hannam excelled in opening new stores and leading multi-site districts. During his tenure, John earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. He has also completed Goodwill Industries International’s Senior Leader Program and graduate level Executive Development Program. John leads the stores and communications teams as Director of Retail and Marketing Services.
Karen Stores, Director of Finance
Karen Stores joined Goodwill in April 1996 as an Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist. Since then she has advanced through many finance roles, from Accountant to Senior Accountant to Assistant Director. During her tenure with GICW, Karen earned her Master of Business Administration Degree in Finance from Marylhurst University. She also completed Goodwill Industries International’s Senior Leader Program.
Todd Silbernagel, Director of Operations
Todd Silbernagel has been an integral leader at GICW since 2011. As Director of Operations, Todd oversees Real Estate Development & Facilities Management, Transportation & Logistics, Information Technology and Operations Support teams. Prior to becoming Director of Operations, he was Senior Executive Operations Manager. Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University, and during his tenure with GICW he has completed Goodwill Industries International’s Senior Leader Program.
Simmony Davidson, Assistant to the President & CEO
Simmony Davidson joined Goodwill in 2004. She is familiar with all facets of Goodwill after serving in positions as Accounts Payable Specialist in the Finance Department, Assistant to the Director of Operations, and currently Assistant to the President & CEO.
Michael M. Miller, CEO Emeritus
Michael Miller joined Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette (GICW) as CEO in January 1986. Prior to his employment at GICW, he served as President & CEO of Goodwill Industries of the Miami Valley (Dayton, Ohio). Michael began his Goodwill career in 1976 as a Vocational Development Specialist for Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin (Milwaukee).
